Podcast Assignment

For this podcast I used Audacity and recorded a recipe for Rita's Mango Bread. First I added some Hawaiian music and then did a recording using a micophone. I thought the program Audacity was pretty easy to get around and once I figured out how to get the music on the site and then I used FreeRip to convert the files to WAV. Once that was done it was a breeze from there. I first did the recording and then went to add music and I couldn't get the recording to work. So once I had the music on there, I then re did the recording of the recipe and it all worked fine.

Using FreeRip was easy to use as well. I didn't think this website was going to be as easy as it was due to the fact, that this was the first time I had ever used Freerip. I didn't think it was going to be that easy to convert song files to WAV. I was pretty amazed!!

The Colts.com football news is very interesting because it tells you things that are going on with the colts and the players. Yes I will check back to the feeds about the colts because its very interesting. Yes the information is valuable because it gives you updates on who the Colts are playing next and all about the NFL.Yes everything on this feed was exactly what I was expecting there to be and more. Great feed to keep you informed of all Colts info!!

The  Nutrition Data has also very interesting data because it gives you information on how to eat healthy and what foods are good to better to eat than others. I will be keep checking back with this feed because its a great feed to find information to eat healthier and stay fit. Yes this information on this feed is very interesting because it gives you tips on what to eat to make you eat healthier. Yes this site is exactly what I expected and more because it gives you tons of tips!!

The Indiana Department of Education has great information for teachers who teach all different subjects because it gives information on all subjects.  Like Math, Science and Reading articles that teachers can read to help them teach their students. I will definitely come back and check this feed on Education because you never know what information you may find. Yes, this feeds is exactly what I expected and more because it gives you tons of information on different subjects for teachers to explore!!

The Trend Hunter also has interesting fashion tips to help you stay in the style now a days. This feed gives you the hottest trends of what students and adults are wearing like the Puma footwear and  the Vans shoes.

I will check back on this feed too to see the different fads and styles that are hot today for people everywhere. It's very interesting to see what the latest trends are now compared to when I went to school. Yes this feed is exactly what I expected because it tells you different trends of how people are dressing today and what's new out on the market!!

Emergent Technology #2

For the Emergent 2nd Technology I decided to look at survs.com to do a survey on the cakes I make for my friends and family. I wish I would of known about this survey sooner  because it's a great way to get feedback about the cakes I make and what I could do to make them better or improve on!

Surv.com is a great website to create surveys for any event like  Course Evaluation, Customer Satisfaction for product or service, Employee Satisfaction, Event planning, Event Evaluation, Fundraising Survey, Product pricing, Service pricing, and Web pricing surveys. There are many surveys on this website to choose from and you can even edit the questions already filled in, with your questions and answers.

This survey website is great for all companies or businesses to use for feedback on how they are doing or what they can improve on. It would be very beneficial for all businesses to do these surveys so that the companies can improve on their customer service or products that they are selling or to keep selling the same products they have been because they are great sellers. It would make business owners know which products seller better than others and what products need to be improved to seller better.

I love this survey website and it's very user friendly and easy to navigate around. It's easy to create surveys on this site because you can either use the questions they have created on the different surveys or you can edit and create your own. I like how they give you different surveys to choose from, so that you have options to choose from when you want to create a survey that will get results.

Emergent Technology 1

I created a Roxio Slideshow of cakes I have decorated. It's a fun hobby I enjoy doing and wish I had more time to do it.  The Roxio Slideshow is a great website that you can add photos to and then make a background and you have an online photo album that is online and can be shared with all of your friends near and far.

Yes this technology of using the Roxio Slideshow is very user friendly and wish I would of came across it before now. I would of used it for many occassions to make photo albums for friends and family. Or used it to make Christmas gifts using this program etc. What a great idea and you can even get the slideshow you created on a DVD or get it made into a book!! How Cool!!

The first step to create this Roxio Slideshow is to find your pictures and upload to the Roxio. Then once the pictures are downloaded you just click on what background you want and can choose from several different ones. Then you can add a caption to each picture and add a "bubble to make word bubbles" to each photo in the album. Then you can post the link onto Facebook or Blogger etc to share with your friends and family. Very easy to create and share with everyone.
I wish this Roxio Slideshow had more background to chose from instead of having to be a member of the Roxio Slideshow program.  Also too bad there isn't more border selections to make the slideshow stick out.

Other than that, this Roxio program is great and I would definately recommend it to my friends and family.  Like I said before, I wish I would of known about this program so that I could created photo albums of my pets and vacations.  Now I can have fun and create photo albums and even post them on Blogger, Facebook,Twitter, or Myspace.
